Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Starting pay ranges from $13–$15 per hour with weekly pay and paid training.

As a DSP, you will assist with daily living skills, documentation, and coordinating with team members to ensure quality care, while promoting independence and dignity in the people we serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful background check and required training.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Accurately document care, activities, and progress; communicate with team members.
