Resources for Human Development, a part of Apis Services, Inc., is looking for full-time direct support professionals to work in our Community Passages program. Community Passages is a community-based residential program designed to provide a homelike environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses, many of whom present significantly challenging behaviors and most of whom previously resided at state centers and hospitals. Residents develop life skills, increase their self-esteem, and are empowered to make choices for themselves. Person-centered planning, self-determination, and personalization foster individualized programs in an open and safe environment encouraging consumer empowerment and personal growth.
We have part-time openings in the Bellevue, Plum and Shaler areas. Bellevue: Friday & Saturday 11p-7a; Plum (2 openings): Monday - Friday 3p-9p, Saturday 3p-11p, Sunday 3p-9p; Shaler: Sunday 7a-3p & 3p-11p.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and providing emotional support and companionship.
