OurBLOOM (Building of Lasting Opportunities for an Optimistic Mindset) program is a community‑based program providing comprehensive residential and day services in staffed homes. The program was created to support adults with autism, dual diagnoses of intellectual disabilities and mental illness, developmental disorders and other neurobiological disabilities, significant mental health issues, and medical complications. Emphasis is placed on developing communication skills, building social supports, person‑centered planning, self‑determination enhancing daily living skills, supporting the community and social integration, providing trauma‑based therapies, and mental health stabilization—with the goal of increased independence and participation within the community.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and providing emotional support and companionship.
