Resources for Human Development is seeking motivated Direct Support Professionals to join our per diem pool serving Gibsonia, Penn Hills and Verona. DSPs provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents to live independently in a home-like setting.
Typical shifts run 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am; you may cover multiple locations. We value reliable, patient team players who communicate clearly and uphold person-centered planning and safety.

We are currently seeking motivated and caring individuals to join us as Per Diem Direct Support Professionals. Per diem DSPs are eligible to work different shifts at different locations throughout the area. Shifts are typically 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and awake overnights 11pm to 7am. You only need to work one 8 hour per pay period in order to stay in our per diem relief pool.
Community Passages is a community-based residential program designed to provide a homelike environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses, many of whom present significantly challenging behaviors and most of whom previously resided at state centers and hospitals. Residents develop life skills, increase their self-esteem, and are empowered to make choices for themselves. Person-centered planning, self-determination, and personalization foster individualized programs in an open and safe environment that encourages consumer empowerment and personal growth.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and providing emotional support and companionship.
Must participate in all onboarding requirements including criminal background and driver's record check.
