Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee is looking for compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work, and play in their communities. Based in our person-supported homes, you will assist with daily activities including meal prep, personal hygiene and medication administration.

We train you for success and offer competitive benefits. You will also support community involvement and collaborate with clinical staff to improve quality of life every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• DSPs may facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance quality of life.
