Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate and hardworking Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work and play in their communities.

Based in person-supported homes, DSPs assist with daily activities, support medication administration, and help individuals participate in community settings. We train for success and offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• DSPs may facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
