Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care in our person-supported homes. You will assist with daily activities, meals, hygiene, and medications, helping individuals learn, work and engage in their communities.

We offer a starting rate of $15 per hour, tenure pay scale, annual bonus, shift premium on weekends, health and life insurance, and retirement and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have valid automobile insurance
• Basic computer skills
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in daily living and community activities within person-supported homes.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone's life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
