Job summary

Independent-Case-Management-Inc is seeking compassionate care assistants to support clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal planning, and medication reminders. You will help with transportation, scheduling, and companionship to promote independence and quality of life.

You will document shift activities, monitor safety, communicate with the care team, and follow HIPAA policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some positions may require additional education.
• Follows HIPAA regulations and company SOPs; asks for clarification when needed.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance and a clean, orderly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with daily activities (bathing, bathroom functions, feeding, dressing, grooming).
• Provide or arrange transportation for errands and accompany customers as needed.
• Help customers achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life.
• Provide written daily updates of shift activities using an online platform.
• Observe customer condition and monitor surroundings to ensure safety.

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
