Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Missouri. You will help clients achieve goals, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences with compassionate support during daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background and drug screenings required.

• Meal preparation and cleanup.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing companionship and encouragement.

As a DSP, you will play an important role in helping clients reach their goals, build new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences while providing compassionate support with daily living activities.

Your Day Might Include

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene

What You'll Need

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred
• Availability for at least one weekend per month
