Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Residential Services in Burlington, IA. You will assist individuals with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement to promote independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities (grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, medication administration).
• Assist with mobility needs (two-person transfers, use of a Hoyer lift).
• Help clients achieve personal goals (cooking, cleaning, social integration).
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
