Job summary

First Resources Corp. Residential Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Ottumwa, IA. The part-time role supports individuals with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, and transport to appointments. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are preferred; background checks apply and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
