Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in our Residential Services. You will support daily living activities, mobility, and community involvement, helping clients gain independence and confidence.

Responsibilities include transportation, documenting PCSP progress, and collaborating with a supportive team in a nonprofit setting dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with clean record and insurance
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration
• Transport clients to appointments and community events
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs)
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members
