Job summary

First Resources Corp. Residential Services in Albia, IA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Hourly Services team. You will assist individuals in achieving greater independence by helping with daily living skills, mobility, and community involvement, while documenting progress on PCSPs.

This part-time role features a supportive, mission-driven environment with schedule flexibility and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift.
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
