Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support/Care Professionals to work with youth with psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs in Rutland, MA. The role offers hourly pay starting at $21.12 with possible increases up to $24.58 for education and experience.

Two-week paid orientation is required, and MAPS certification is encouraged within six months. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 and an additional $250 MAP certification bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.
• Must attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to youth to ensure safety.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment.
• Engage youth with positive reinforcement and guidance.
• Teach activities of daily living (ADL) and life skills.
• Complete required documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
