Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Timber Hill Residential Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional III to support individuals with intellectual disabilities at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. The DSP III will provide direct care, document daily activities, and work with the team to implement treatment plans.

This role offers morning/evening/night shifts; additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, and at maximum-security locations may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Texas driver's license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct care and support services to individuals; implements habilitation and rehabilitation and training plans.
• Observes and reports individuals' conditions and behaviors; documents progress.
• Assists with medication administration and daily living activities; provides guidance to new staff.
