Job summary

HopeTree Family Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with IDD. You will work with the Manager to plan daily activities and assist with daily living, promoting growth across physical, emotional, social, and intellectual domains.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Training in human services preferred; occasional shifts and travel to locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or training in mental health, special education, behavior support, or human services preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to represent the agency positively in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day activities and support to individuals served.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote growth and independence.
• Coordinate with supervisor to plan daily activities and supports.
• Support individuals with hygiene, routine tasks, and medical care instructions as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained program location and document progress.
