Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Freehold, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with activities of daily living and community participation, helping clients live independently while maintaining a compassionate, reliable presence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene and light housekeeping.
• Support community participation, employment and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Document and coordinate with Abound team members and families as needed.
