Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Wharton, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Offer flexible schedules (full-time and part-time).
• Provide weekly pay and bonus opportunities (e.g., referrals).
