Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The DSP helps clients live independently, supports ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support with compassion and reliability.

You will join a mission‑driven team serving NJ clients, with paid training, weekly pay, and clear opportunities for advancement as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Provide hands‑on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Using adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.
• Completing documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Ongoing training and professional development.
