Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support professional to assist individuals with IDD in residential and day settings. You will mentor staff, model best practices, and help implement each person’s plan with dignity and respect.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience in direct support. Training, CPR/First Aid, and ongoing certifications are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience working with IDD individuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people supported to identify personal outcomes and preferences.
• Support the interdisciplinary team to implement Person-Centered Plans.
• Provide daily living assistance and advocate for dignity, choice and community involvement.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and environment in group homes and transportation as needed.
• Complete required trainings and certifications to remain compliant.
