Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency diploma required.
• A valid New York State Driver’s License with 2 years of driving experience required.
• Experience working with adults with behavioral health or other disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist with walking, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
• Provide encouragement and reassurance to promote confidence and independence.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Advocate for their needs, rights, and access to services.
• Maintain accurate records including daily notes and progress reports.
