Job summary

National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local leads and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, partners) to grow business.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance, and customer experience.
