Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business and cross-selling to existing customers. This role conducts in-person and phone-based sales, building lasting relationships through community engagement and referral networks.

You will manage a sales pipeline, partner with leadership on initiatives, and stay informed on products and underwriting guidelines to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 0– 2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
