Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships in the local market.

You will sell to local customers in person and by phone, develop relationships with dealerships and partners, and stay informed on products, underwriting, and competition while delivering results aligned with compliance and customer experience standards.

Qualifications

• 0– 2years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attainrequired licensure within90 daysof joining thecompany.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
