Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to grow our local book of business. You will sell to customers in person and by phone, build relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions while maintaining compliance.

Develop a healthy pipeline through local lead generation and referrals, engage with dealerships and events, and support marketing initiatives with leadership. The role offers a base hourly rate plus uncapped monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• 0– 2years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
