Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Buyer / Materials Planner (Direct Materials) to procure direct materials for a fast-paced manufacturing operation on-site in Irving, TX.

The role supports pre-production ramp-up and ongoing production, manages supplier relations and performance, and drives cost efficiency while maintaining quality and delivery performance. You will work with cross-functional teams, review requisitions, issue POs, monitor MRP-driven demand, and analyze variance to optimize inventory

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of direct material buying experience.
• Experience with MRP systems and SAP.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Procure direct materials to support production operations.
• Review requisitions, evaluate bids, and issue purchase orders.
• Monitor on-time delivery and manage inventory levels.
• Drive cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.
• Support ISO and internal audits.
