Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Material Control Planner for a client in Fort Worth, TX to oversee inventory transactions and KPIs. The role requires managing orders, shipping docs, and performance reporting to optimize material flow.

The position is 100% onsite, full-time, and salary ranges from 55k to 60k USD per year plus benefits, with strong emphasis on MRP, ERP systems, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in materials control, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory software, as well as advanced Excel skills.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CIPS, or Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage material flow and resolve issues.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or related tools).
• Ability to thrive under pressure by maintaining composure and delivering results in high-stress or fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory transactions and KPI-based status reporting.
• Manage orders, shipping docs, and shipment performance reports.
• Lead MRP runs in SAP and verify accuracy of MRP output.
• Maintain item master data and BOMs; conduct weekly audits.
• Prepare reports for End of Manufacturing materials disposition.
• Monitor material aging, excess, salvage, scrap, and inter-site transfers.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews to meet KPI targets.
• Lead cycle counts and materials flow optimization.
• Process customer-supplied material accounting and inquiries.
• Prepare shipping documents and hit-rate analyses for management meetings.
