Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Material Planner Buyer for a 12+ months contract in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on detailed production planning and purchasing within a Supply Chain Team, handling domestic and international replenishment for multiple plants.

The candidate will convert master schedules to detailed production orders, manage POs, communicate delivery schedules, and resolve payment issues while ensuring GMP and ISO compliance across activities.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and 3–5 years MRP planning experience.
• Minimum 3 years procurement experience.
• Experience with MRP systems; SAP R/3 and APO a plus.
• Strong analytical, planning, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Converts Master Schedule plans to detailed, executable MRP plans/work orders.
• Supports Manufacturing Operations, Global Demand Planning and Procurement.
• Manages purchase orders and communicates delivery schedules; expedit es material.
• Communicates supplier performance issues to Commodity Managers.
• Reviews MRP parameters and data for KPIs like Schedule Compliance and Inventory turns.
• Maintains data integrity of BOMs and Routings; complies with GMP/ISO guidelines.
