Job summary

Havtech is seeking an Owner Direct Account Manager to drive revenue by securing maintenance agreements, quoted service projects, quoted repairs, building automation and turnkey projects for existing buildings.

This role supports Havtech’s mission to deliver exceptional customer service through the sale and execution of HVAC equipment, building automation, and mechanical contracting services, coordinating Havtech solutions that meet environmental, operational, financial, and people goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or business field.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC Sales or related technical field.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer relation and presentation skills.
• Basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to travel within a defined region at least 50% of the time; overnight travel is not typical.
• Ability to function independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Prospects to locate and develop relationships with new clients.
• Maintains and cultivates existing client relationships
• Develops general working knowledge of all Havtech offerings.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve project closure rate and profitability.
• Develops necessary estimates as required.
• Leads or supports coordinated sales efforts involving multiple Havtech sales groups.
• Communicates project information to operations for successful completion.
• Coordinates and attends site reviews as required.
• Confirms project scope and bill of materials with customers.
• Assists with collection of accounts receivable as needed.
• Determines selling strategy and initial pricing.
• Presents proposals, negotiates price and contract terms/conditions.
• Stays current with local utility incentive programs and leverages rebates.
• Coordinates or engages in the project execution process.
• Resolves deviations in scope with the client.
