Overview

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an RN. Position Status: Full Time - Day Shift Position Location: Territory will be Newport News, Hampton, and Williamsburg Mileage reimbursement will be paid for all miles driven between patient visits. The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care.

Education

Associate's Degree (Required)

Certification/Licensure

RN (Required) - Active in VA BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

1-year minimum nursing experience (required) Home Health experience (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Manages a patient case load through coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $87,214.40 - $126,900.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
