Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks a Dinner Server for Latitude, our signature dining venue. You will welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages during dinner service in a refined yet relaxed setting.

The role supports pool service during peak seasons and reports to the General Manager or F&B Manager. The position offers afternoon/evening shifts year-round, with pay of $7.25/hr plus tips and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous dinner service to guests.
• Greet guests, present menus, and offer recommendations.
• Take orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve courses and beverages with attention to presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining spaces and stations.
• Process payments using the POS system and assist with other duties as needed.

Job Summary:

The Dinner Server at Latitude is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by providing a warm and welcoming dining experience during dinner service. Reporting to the Latitude General Manager or Food & Beverage Manager, this role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable meal for all guests. The Dinner Server plays a key role in setting the tone for the guest experience each evening, offering attentive service in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Position will support the pool service during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dinner experience.
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and offer recommendations based on dietary preferences.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and modifications areproperly communicatedto the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently,maintainingattention to detail and presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining spaces.
• Assistwith table setups, refilling beverages, and deliveringadditionalitems as needed.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with food handling guidelines.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, daily specials, and operational updates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Previousexperience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant preferred.
• Strong communicationand customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingattention to detail.
• Knowledge of dinner service, including beverages and cocktails is a plus.
• Proficiencywith POS systems and handling guest transactions.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods andlift upto 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations.
