Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a Busser for Latitude Restaurant to support front-of-house operations in a luxury dining setting. You will clear and reset tables, assist servers, and help maintain a pristine dining room to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while adhering to high standards of service and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Previous busser experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a luxury dining setting.
• Knowledge of proper table setting and fine dining service standards is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly for incoming guests.
• Assist servers by delivering water, bread, and table items as needed.
• Maintain dining room, service stations, and outdoor patio cleanliness.
• Monitor tables for guest needs, refill beverages, and remove used dishware.
• Support the food running team with timely delivery of dishes.
• Stock and restock glassware, plates, silverware, and service essentials.
• Follow health and safety regulations to meet sanitation standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service to maintain upscale ambience.
• Attend orientations and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Busser at Latitude Restaurant plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team by clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Reporting to the General Manager, this position ensures efficient service flow, a well-maintained dining room, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment.

Job Specifications

Onsite: Black Desert Resort - Latitude Restaurant

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time

Pay Rate: $12/hr plus tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a busser, food runner, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, working closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain efficiency in a high-end dining setting.
• Knowledge of proper table setting and fine dining service standards is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant operations.
