Basalt Restaurant at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah, seeks a Fine Dining Server Assistant to support the front-of-house team and maintain the dining area for a seamless, memorable guest experience.

Reporting to the Basalt General Manager, this on-site position helps uphold high standards of service in a fine dining setting. Pay is $14.00/hour plus tips with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
• Excellent verbal communication and guest service
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, ingredients and formal dining etiquette
• Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, polished appearance and passion for hospitality and service
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must meet minimum alcohol service age requirements and possess/obtain certifications

Responsabilidades

• Take accurate orders and input into POS promptly

• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless delivery
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
• Set and reset tables with proper place settings and linens
• Adhere to health, safety and responsible alcohol service standards
• Assist with closing duties and maintain a clean dining room
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Fine Dining Server Assistant plays a key supporting role in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Job Summary:

The Server Assistant at Basalt Restaurant supports the front-of-house team by maintaining the dining area, assisting with service flow, and ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt, attentive support. Reporting to the Basalt General Manager, this position helps maintain the high standards of service expected in a fine dining environment.

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Basalt Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-TimePay Rate: $14.00/hour plus tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, wine list, and pairing options, including preparation methods and ingredient details.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system promptly.
• Serve multiple courses with precision and attentiveness, following fine dining standards for presentation and timing.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless food and drink delivery.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, anticipate needs, and resolve any service concerns professionally.
• Set and reset tables meticulously, ensuring place settings, glassware, and linens are perfect.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist with closing duties, side work, and maintaining a clean, organized dining room.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
