Qualifications

• Experience as an IU Dining part-time employee for 10 consecutive weeks.
• Comparable experience outside of IU dining.
• Food Safety (ServSafe Food Handler) certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training part-time dining staff and monitor quality of product.
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints to maintain positive relations.
• Count weekly and monthly inventory.

Skills

Knowledge of institutional food preparation equipment operation

Strong communication skills

Knowledge and practice of personal hygiene standards

Education

General knowledge at the high school level
