Qualifications

• General knowledge at the high school level.
• Experience as an IU Dining/IU Catering part-time employee for 10 consecutive weeks or comparable experience.
• Food Safety Training within 180 days from date of hire.
• Ability to lift 20–50 pounds and work in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Works under the catering management team and supervises part-time staff.
• Assists in coordinating part-time staff placement and training.
• Monitors staff performance to meet department standards.
• Assists with events management, staff deployment, POS cash handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Counts weekly/monthly inventory and resolves guest complaints.
• Represents the team in the manager's absence and assists with driving catering vehicles.
