Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Dining supervisor to support IU Dining operations in Bloomington. You will help manage food service, supervise staff, and ensure dining quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced campus setting.

The role requires leadership, strong service orientation, and knowledge of health and safety regulations. A ServSafe certification within 180 days is required. Benefits support faculty-staff in full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of work experience in food services with leadership.
• Food Safety (ServSafe) certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management, administration, and/or production for IU Dining.
• Provide customer service, schedules, and supervise employees.
• Oversee the preparation and service of meals.
• Oversee purchasing and production; manage menus and orders.
• Work with the area manager on budget, inventory, and reports.
• Rotate promotions and assist with brand management.
• May assume the general manager role in absence.
