Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a Service Supervisor for Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. The role oversees the dining hall operations, supervises front-of-house staff, and ensures timely meal service while maintaining sanitation and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of front-of-house supervision, a high school diploma, basic computer knowledge, and ideally ServSafe Manager certification. Benefits are offered and weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Two-year minimum experience in front of house and supervision.
• High school diploma; secondary education helpful.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• ServSafe Manager certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dining hall.
• Engage with guests, providing service in a positive, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensure timeliness of food service for each meal time, including cleanliness and proper garnishing.
• Train new service employees according to prescribed training schedule and proper portion control.
• Communicate with production, kitchen or front-of-house staff any problems.
• May help lead safety meetings or other trainings.
• Assist the Dining Management with events or other tasks as assigned.
