Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a Service Supervisor for Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. The role oversees the dining hall operations and supervises front-of-house staff, ensuring quality service across meal periods.

You will train employees, coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and maintain safety and sanitation standards in a busy campus environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Two-year minimum experience in front of house & supervision.
• High school diploma, secondary education helpful.
• Basic Computer Knowledge.
• ServSafe Manager certified a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dining hall.
• Engage with guests, providing service in a positive, friendly & helpful manner.
• Ensure timeliness of food service for each meal time, including cleanliness and proper portion control.
• Ensure the serving lines are properly garnished.
• Train new service employees according to prescribed training schedule & proper portion control.
• Communicate with all production, kitchen or front-of-house staff any problems.
• May help lead safety meetings or other trainings.
• Assist the Dining Management with events or other tasks as assigned.
