Job summary

Unidine, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Dining Services Manager to lead a team in a senior living dining operation. You will ensure excellent service in dining rooms and at special functions, while coordinating with culinary and marketing teams on menus, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will oversee budgeting, quality improvement, sanitation, and guest relations, and participate in quarterly reporting. A strong hospitality mindset and 2 years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Waitstaff and catering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospitality and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining services operations of a senior living location.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assists with profit and loss and budgeting for the account.
• Collaborates with Chef and management to create menus and ensure top quality food.
• Manages all food service activities, sanitation and infection control.
• Supports rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepares quarterly client reports.
• Works with marketing/culinary to boost sales through innovations and quality.
