Apploi is seeking a Dining Services Manager in Bend to lead dining operations, recruit and train staff, and ensure high-quality meals for residents and guests. You will coach teams, supervise meal prep, and coordinate menus and events in a supportive, professional environment.

The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare or senior living teams to maintain exceptional dining standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary or dietary training preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in dining services, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and senior living dietary requirements.
• Experience planning menus and coordinating special events.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage dining services staff; recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to build a high-performing team.
• Conduct regular team huddles; communicate updates and service standards.
• Promote employee engagement and retention; recognize performance and support development.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet service needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily meal preparation, cooking, plating; ensure quality and portion control.
• Assist hands-on in the kitchen during peak times: prep, cook, plate, expediting.
