Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining department at a long-term care facility, focusing on delivering high‑quality resident dining experiences and operational excellence.

You will supervise staff, ensure food safety compliance, maintain inventory and schedules, and train teammates to uphold service standards. Strong leadership and resident‑centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in food service management or a similar role is desired.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily dining operations and supervise staff.
• Ensure dietary, safety, and policy compliance.
• Maintain records for inventory, costs, and schedules.
• Lead staff training on prep, service, and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Inspect food areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG with courtesy in interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
