Qualifications

• Identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans.
• Hold current first aid and food handler or Serve Safe certification.
• Be compassionate and professional with residents and families.
• Excellent communication with staff, residents, families.

• Strong customer service and problem solving.
• Reliable, on-time attendance.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for meals and complete pre-meal procedures.
• Fill resident requests and transport service trays to units.
• Establish relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Understand menus and ingredients before service.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining room.
• Work as a team to meet management goals.
