Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc invites candidates to join a 16-week Dining Services Manager in Training program in Raleigh, NC. The paid program develops you to manage and oversee dining services in a healthcare setting with hands-on and computer-based training.

Participants will learn to manage operations, ensure health and sanitation compliance, and lead staff training while gaining experience with inventory, service excellence, and resident interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the program where required by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
