Job summary

Aramark seeks a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations at a campus dining facility in Chapel Hill, NC. You will develop and implement dining solutions to meet customer tastes, manage the front- and back-of-house activities, and ensure a high level of service.

You will coach the team, monitor safety and sanitation, manage P&L targets, and collaborate with clients to deliver on commitments while upholding Aramark's standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model.
• Identify client needs and communicate progress effectively.
• Manage P&L statements and deliver financial targets.
• Improve operations through food and labor initiatives and cost controls.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
• Direct front-of-house dining operations in coordination with the Food Service Director.
