Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead the dining operations at a correctional facility. You will oversee front-of-house and kitchen activities, ensure service standards, and drive client satisfaction.

In this role you will coach teams, manage daily briefings, and uphold safety and sanitation while meeting financial targets. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with at least one year in management.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service setting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house operations in cafeteria or residential dining facility alongside the Food Service Director.
• Develop and implement dining solutions to meet customer needs.
• Oversee and manage dining operations where customers order from a menu.
• Plan and lead daily team briefings and coach team members.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and wage/hour regulations.
• Deliver on client expectations and financial targets by using performance metrics and margins.
