Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Dining Services Manager to lead and coordinate the dining operations for residents and staff. You will plan menus, supervise kitchen staff, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

You will schedule staff, train new hires, monitor quality, and support nutrition education initiatives while maintaining adherence to company procedures across one or more dining locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years experience in commercial kitchen, operation and line cooking, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ServSafe Certification and state food service certification required; ACF CSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops standards for dining services and supervises the dining operations.
• Maintains quality dining services within the budget and analyzes food costs.
• Plans menus, coordinates food preparation, and oversees cooking to meet company procedures.
• Inspects work areas regularly to ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.
• Creates staff schedules, trains new employees, and delegates tasks effectively.
• Coordinates inventory of food and nonfood items and ensures accurate records.
• Provides nutrition education and counseling for residents and supports dining services education for staff.
