Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Leader to plan, manage, and coordinate the dining department for residents and staff. You will oversee food preparation, menu planning, cost control, and sanitation to ensure high-quality dining within budget.

You will train staff, develop schedules, and monitor compliance with health and safety standards, conducting ongoing nutrition education and program improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years experience in commercial kitchen operations and/or training.
• Current ServSafe Certification required; state food service certs as applicable.
• ACF CSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and coordinates activities of the dining services department.
• Oversees food preparation, menu planning and cost controls.
• Maintains quality dining services within budget and safety standards.
• Prepares schedules, trains staff, and enforces sanitation procedures.
• Provides nutrition education and ensures health and safety compliance.
