Brookdale is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead the dining operations for residents and staff at one or more Brookdale communities in Florida. You will plan menus, supervise preparation, and ensure quality dining within budget while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and nutrition education skills, with ServSafe certification and state certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to four years in commercial kitchen or related role preferred.
• ServSafe Certification required; state certification where applicable; CSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and coordinates dining services across one or more locations.
• Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services.
• Maintains quality dining within prescribed budget and controls costs.
• Plans menus and oversees food preparation and cooking per procedures.
• Supervises sanitation and safety; conducts regular inspections.
• Creates schedules, production worksheets, and staff assignments.
• Trains and mentors dining services staff; delegates tasks effectively.
• Implements cost control systems and submits department budget to director.
• Provides nutrition education and staff training sessions as needed.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and quality improvements pursued.
