Brookdale is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor to oversee the organization and delivery of high-quality dining programs for residents. You will manage menu planning, food cost control, and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating inventories, and implementing quality improvements. A ServSafe certified candidate with kitchen management experience is preferred, and the position is on-site at a Brookdale community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years experience in commercial kitchen or related field.
• Current ServSafe Certification preferred; state certification as applicable; CSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services.
• Maintains quality dining services within the budget.
• Plans menus, controls food costs, and may prepare meals.
• Oversees food preparation and cooking per company procedures.
• Inspects work areas for compliance with food safety and sanitation.
• Maintains inventory and staffing schedules.
• Trains new employees in department operations and delegation.
• Develops cost control systems and submits department budget.
