Brookdale Senior Living in the United States seeks a Dining Services Manager (Finance) to oversee dining operations across one or more locations, ensuring high-quality meals and compliant food safety.

You will develop menus, manage budgets, supervise staff, and maintain inventory while delivering nutrition education and continuous improvement. ServSafe certification is required; ACF CSC is preferred. This role requires leadership within a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two to four years experience in commercial kitchen, operation and line cooking, or equivalent education/experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft software and basic typing skills.
• Current ServSafe Certification required. State food service certification required, if applicable.
• ACF Certified Sous Chef (CSC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services.
• Maintains quality dining services within the prescribed budget.
• Plans menus and controls food costs; determines quality and quantity of food.
• Oversees food preparation and cooking to ensure meals follow procedures.
• Inspects all work, storage, and serving areas to ensure food safety regulations are followed.
• Prepares cleaning schedule, production worksheet and staff schedules.
• Maintains inventory of food and nonfood items and trains staff.
